In the Weather application we take the privacy of its users very seriously. Any personal information we obtain regarding Weather application will be dealt with in accordance with this policy.

Weather application collects information about your use of the application for three main reasons:

1. to be able to develop the best weather application for you,
2. to be able to provide relevant advertisement for you (please note, the application and its development is funded by advertisement)

Weather aplication may process the following information when you use the service:

• Location data

  The precise location data is used to get you more accurate weather forecasts for your specific location as you move or travel and it may be used to show you ads that are more relevant for you. The application will ask you for your device's precise location consent when you start the application for the first time or if you choose from the "Search location" menu that the application should automatically detect the current location.

  If you don't want to share your precise device's location you can search for a location from the "Search location" menu.

  You can change your choice for the precise location consent anytime from the application menu.

  In the following paragraphs you can learn how the app uses your device's precise location:

  • the precise location is transmitted to our partners securely using HTTPS protocol.
  • the precise location is cached on your device to deliver you faster the weather information. You can clear the cache from the device's settings for this app.
  • the app accesses and uses the device's precise location (latitude, longitude) to give you the most precise weather forecasts. Our weather providers use high-resolution forecasts models which for some locations have a distance between two grid points less than 5 km.
  • depending on your location or if a weather provider is working or not, the precise location may be shared with the weather providers Foreca and Dark Sky to get the weather information.
  • the precise location is shared with Google's Geocoder API to transform a coordinate (latitude, longitude) into an address or location name
  • the precise location is shared with Google Admob and Meta Audience Network to show you ads that are more relevant for you

• Information for showing personalized ads

  Note: This section (collection of data to personalize ads) applies only to the free version of our app. In case you are using a premium version of our app or you have paid to upgrade to the ad-free version of the app, this section does not apply.

  In order to be able to provide our app to you for free we show ads. In order to show ads we work with third party ad networks (our ad partners). To personalize ads for you and therefore improve your experience with our app, our partners may collect information that includes the following:

  • Device-specific user IDs (randomly generated strings that identify your device)
  • Operating system and/or version of your device
  • Device code or model
  • Device language
  • The date at which the transfer takes place
  • The device's location, if locations services are enabled on your device

We obtain your personal information confidentially ensuring appropriate security. We only store the information that is lawful and has a purpose. We store the information only as long as it is necessary.

In the settings function of your mobile device, you can disable the access of the specific app to your location at any time.

You can also adjust your personalized ad preferences via Google Ads Settings or you can remove the Ads from the application by buying the Remove ads package from the app settings.

As children's privacy is very important, we do not obtain any personal information on purpose from people under 16 years of age without the permission of his/her guardian. A guardian has the right to view the information obtained from a child and ask for removal.
